Micro wedding | Chawton House Alton

Micro wedding | Chawton House Alton

Axell & Christina were due to get married earlier this year when the COVID disaster hit!  Unpeterbed they celebrated their would be wedding day with a zoom call with their guests and planned for a future do.  When it became more obvious that weddings were not going to be as they were for quite some time they decided to bite the bullet and get hitched albeit with reduced numbers.  They had 5 guests for the ceremony at Alton registry office and it was really cosy and intimate, not to mention a fabulous room.

After the ceremony we took a short trip to the nearby Chawton House and took some pictures in their gorgeous gardens. I’ve never been there before and it was so beautiful – as we walked into the walled garden we saw a deer run out!  ERMMMM HELLO BAMBI I’M HERE!!!

We had lots of fun and giggles and I even managed to convince them to have a first dance in the woods and I ADORE the pics from that moment – here’s one.. It was my first time using a funky new lensbaby and I was so excited when I saw the images!  They have such a dreamy feel.

Though it wasn’t the day they planned, it was a really gorgeous day.  So if your plans are hanging in the balance, just keep in mind that your day will be what you make of it – these smaller weddings are definitely starting to grow on me!!  Anyway, here are the pics from the gorgeous Axell and Christina’s wedding, or if you’re more of a slideshow watcher, scroll to the bottom and you’ll find a link to the video.  Leave a comment below and let me know what you think!
