Leaving primary – the end of an era
I remember leaving primary school, I found it SO traumatic! I really loved my primary and the teachers and I felt so safe there, the BIG school felt so huge and scary, not to mention full of giants! So when I was asked to photograph one of the local primary school’s leaver’s party I jumped at it. These kids have been together in the same class for 7 years and were about to embark on an amazing adventure into pastures new at the “big” Blandford School.
So I was sooooooo happy to join their party and take a few pics for their memory boxes! Annoyingly it was raining so they couldn’t make the most of the field but luckily a kareoke machine was on hand to keep everyone entertained. That and checking how much they’d grown against the height chart!
If you’d like a party covered in a non-obtrusive way then let me know!
